Terms of Service

By creating an account or using lazyai.dev, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use lazyai. If you use lazyai on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that company to these terms.

lazyai is an AI app builder. You describe an app in chat, an AI agent builds a real web application, and you can preview it in your browser and deploy it to our managed runtime hosting.

The service has two separate subscriptions. The Builder (Core) subscription gives you a monthly allowance of AI-build tokens for creating and editing apps. The Hosting (Runtime) subscription is billed per deployed app and keeps that app running. Because the two are separate, your deployed apps keep running even if your Builder subscription lapses.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. Tell us at hello@lazyai.dev right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

Give us accurate information and keep your email address current — it is how we reach you about billing and about your apps.

You own what you make. The apps you build on lazyai, the code the builder generates for them, and the data inside them are yours — including any source you export.

You are responsible for the content you put into lazyai and for the content your apps publish: your prompts, your uploads, and the data your apps collect from their own users.

So that we can run the service, you grant lazyai a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, back up, transmit, and display your projects and apps — only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. We do not sell your content. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups, which purge within 30 days.

lazyai owns the platform itself: the builder, the managed runtime, the golden template your apps start from, and the asset library. You receive a license to use the template and assets within apps built on lazyai. Everything you add on top of them is yours.

The builder is powered by AI models, and AI output can be wrong. We do not warrant that generated code is error-free, secure, or fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and testing what you ship — especially before your app handles other people’s money or data.

Similar prompts can produce similar apps for other users; using lazyai gives no one exclusivity over an idea.

Use lazyai lawfully and do not harm others. No illegal content, phishing, malware, spam, crypto mining, or resource abuse — whether in the builder or in a deployed app. The full rules live in our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo Payments handles checkout, VAT and sales tax, and your card data — lazyai never stores card numbers.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. When you change plans, pro-rated charges or credits are applied automatically.

On your first subscription purchase you can request a full refund within 14 days by emailing hello@lazyai.dev. Token top-up packs are consumable and non-refundable once tokens from the pack have been used.

AI-build tokens, storage, bandwidth, and compute are subject to the quotas of your plan. Quotas exist so that one project cannot degrade the service for everyone else. We may throttle usage that exceeds plan limits; if you consistently need more, upgrade your plan or talk to us.

We work hard to keep deployed apps running, with certificates, monitoring, and backups included. Managed runtime hosting is provided on a best-effort basis, without a contractual uptime guarantee.

If a hosting payment fails, we never take your app down silently. For 14 days we remind you by email and in-product banners while the app keeps running. If payment still has not succeeded, the app is suspended but its data is kept. Only after 45 days do we delete the app — and even then its backups are retained for 30 more days, so you have a real chance to recover it.

You can close your account at any time in Settings. Doing so deletes your data; backups purge within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, create legal risk, or endanger the platform or other users. Where lawful and practical, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem or export your work.

lazyai is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, lazyai is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for all claims arising out of the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will give you at least 14 days’ notice by email or in-product before they take effect. Continuing to use lazyai after that date means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you may close your account.

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Before starting any formal dispute, contact us at hello@lazyai.dev — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought before the competent courts of Vietnam.
